Morning Rituals for a Stronger Mental Health

Starting your day off on a good note can make a profound difference in your day. The below tips are great to ground yourself, get your body and mind ready for the day and add support to your neurotransmitters and hormones to help feel your best.

  • Get sunlight as soon as you can, even better if you can go outside

  • Hydrate, Ideally drink water right when you wake up. Bonus points if you add electrolytes or a pinch of himalayan sea salt to better absorb water.

  • Deep, mindful, diaphragmatic breathing

  • Practice thinking of at least 3 things you are grateful for

  • Eat a nourishing breakfast with protein

  • Say positive affirmations

  • Meditate

  • Connect with a person you love

  • Find a grounding practice that works for you (could be the above, could be something else)
